Description:

Seen here is the comet over Mt Lukens, the highest point in the city of Los Angeles (5074 ft). The previous night, the comet was mostly cut off by trees and pollution, so for this shot went up into the local mountains, near a place called Red Box (near Mt Wilson) for a clear view.
