Description:

Due west of Glenorie lie the Blue Mountains with the western surburbs of Sydney in between. About 25 minutes after sunset on the 20th the comet was still high enough in the sky to display a beautiful upright scimitar with the head just dipping into the city air pollution. An added bonus in this shot are the early evening stars over the western horizon.
