Description:
I was hoping to catch both the new Moon & Venus together in a single frame, but with December - March being rainy season its a gamble if there are clouds or not. I was prepared & ready, and after the sun disappeared behind the mountains I managed 5 mins of viewing of Venus before it disappeared into the cloud & behind the mountain too. The added advantage up at 12,000 feet is the air is clear & the last of the suns rays create beams up through the mountains too.
