Description
NGC 3718 is a warped spiral galaxy in the constellation Ursa Major. It's peculiar shape resulted from gravitational interaction with other galaxies. The small group of galaxies in the lower right is Hickson 56, about 400M light-years away and much more distant than NGC 3718..
