Description:
I used NASA's eclipse maps to locate the place where the centerline crossed highway 89, south of Page, AZ. To my surprise, when I showed up there for the eclipse, a handful of other people had picked the same spot! It was well worth the 800-mile drive (round-trip) to be able to capture the moon centered in the sun. The weather in Page was perfect, of course! And it's such a beautiful place to visit. Wow! What an experience!
