300mm Nikon lens at f/5.6 mounted on a Nikon D3300 body. EQ2 mount (Sky-Watcher).
Description:
This image shows the galaxy M101 in an exposure totalling 33m 50s in 5s subframes. The galaxy to its right is the companion dwarf spiral galaxy NGC 5474. The latter has been tidally distorted by its larger neighbor. A third, fainter galaxy, NGC 5477 is also present below M101.
