Description:

Thank you for looking at the strange and amazing textures of the Fox Fur Nebula. It is located in Monoceros and included in the Christmas Tree cluster. The brownish red colour is caused by emission from ionized hydrogen gas. This image is the result of a rework of narrowband data from my AG14 Newtonian telescope, photographed earlier this year.. Hope you enjoy it.
