Location of photo
Boise National Forest, Lake Cascade, Idaho, between Cascade and Donnelly.
Date/Time of photo
2017 August 21
Equipment
Canon 60D camera, Canon EF-S 15-85mm lens at 15mm, f/5, Thousand Oaks solar filter, intervalometer
Description
During the partial phases, I took 1/1000 sec exposures every 30 seconds through the solar filter. For totality, no filter, and 1 picture every 3 seconds, 1 sec exposure. I did my best to estimate the pointing so that totality would wind up in the middle, with some land+water visible at the bottom of the frame.
