Dark Sky Celebration Weekend

This weekend is for amateur astronomers and astronomers. We will have speakers and a star gazing both Friday and Saturday night in the field behind the group camp. Our speakers for the weekend are David McAlister, Theo Wellington, Gary Eaton, George Srdanov, and Paul Lewis. International Dark Sky Week Celebration

Come out and celebrate International Dark Sky Week with a star party at Pogue Creek Canyon State Natural Area. Astronomers will have telescopes set-up in the astronomy field for people to view different celestial objects. You will need to bring sturdy shoes and a red flashlight.
