The Imaging Source offers the DMK series of high-speed, low-noise webcams ideal for capturing the best pictures of our solar system. The model 21AF04.AS camera ($390) features a ¼-inch Sony CCD chip with a 640-by-480 array of 5.6-micron pixels capable of recording up to 60 uncompressed frames per second. Larger, fancier models are available with your choice of monochrome or color CCD detectors. FireWire (IEEE 1394) 4-pin or 6-pin cable and C-to-1¼-inch adapter sold separately.
