Van Slyke Instruments introduces the Motorized Zerotator ($1,475), a heavy-duty instrument rotator for your CCD cameras and other accessories. Manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel, the Motorized Zerotator uses 80 caged needle bearings to guarantee smooth rotation of your imaging train with no flexure. The unit features a 2.9-inch clear aperture to accommodate large CCD sensors, and requires only 1.3 inches of additional focus travel. A pre-installed Technical Innovations RoboFocus motor controls the rotation. The Motorized Zerotator weighs 2 pounds and supports loads of up to 50 pounds. Optional adapters are available on the manufacturer’s website.
