New England Fall Astronomy Festival

September 14 @ 7:00 pm - September 15 @ 11:30 pm

Free

From starry night skies to mysterious dark energy, the New England Fall Astronomy Festival is your ticket to explore outer space right here in your backyard. Join us on September 14th and 15th at the University of New Hampshire Observatory on the Durham campus to learn all about astronomy and space science.

The New England Fall Astronomy Festival opens at 7:00 PM on Friday, Sept. 14 with a keynote address by Dr. Fran Bagenal, a planetary physicist who has worked with NASA missions to Pluto and Jupiter. You can check out the nighttime sky afterward with our telescopes and a laser pointer sky tour.

The festival re-opens on Saturday, Sept. 15th at 10:30 AM with a day full of astronomy activities for the entire family including solar observing and star party.
