Puget Sound and Beyond Star Party

The Puget Sound and Beyond Star Party is a regional celebration of space, as a part of the 2013 Seattle Science Festival. Star parties, observatory tours and planetarium shows will take place across the state of Washington, sites include: •Richie Observatory at Battle Point Park hosted by Battle Point Astronomical Association.
•The Goldendale Observatory in Goldendale, WA
•Palouse Falls State Park in Adams County, hosted by the Palouse Astronomical Society.
•Ft. Nugent State Park near Oak Harbor, hosted by the Island Country Astronomical Society.
•The Seattle Astronomical Society will be hosting two sites, one at Green Lake and the other at Paramount Park.
•Moore Observatory & Bechtel National Planetarium at Columbia Basin College in Pasco, WA.
•Pacific Planetarium in Bremerton, WA will be doing a morning event focusing on solar viewing from 10a-2p.
