Binocular SkyScout

Katie Curtis
See more celestial targets by attaching your Celestron SkyScout to tripod-mounted binoculars with the FAR-Sight SkyScout Mount ($79.95) from Farpoint Astronomical Research. The mount places the SkyScout on top of your binoculars slightly forward of the eyepieces, allowing convenient access to the SkyScout's viewing "window." The entire unit is made of stainless steel, which the manufacturer says won't interfere with the SkyScout's critical electronic sensors. (Binoculars, tripod, and SkyScout sold separately.)
