March comes in like a lion, the saying goes, and this year it also comes in with Moonless evening skies, which is great for stargazing. So how can you stay inside with so many wonderful late-winter wonders arrayed overhead this month?

Sunset and nightfall come later and later, so our starwatching is getting pushed into deeper into the evening. Because of this, the seasonal changing of the constellations seems to speed up. If you skip a few weeks, you may not recognize the new sky when you next go out!

The evening sky is now brimming with bright, easy to see celestial sights. mars is high up, skirting the constellation Gemini, and Saturn is well up in the east, accompanied closely by the bright star Regulus.
