I couldn't be more pleased to announce a new blogger for S&T's website: Canadian science writer and broadcaster Ivan Semeniuk. Ivan currently works as journalist-in-residence for the University of Toronto's Dunlap Institute for Astronomy & Astrophysics.

Ivan Semeniuk

If you've seen Ivan's name before, it's because he's contributed several feature articles to S&T. Most recently, he was bureau chief for New Scientist's U.S. office in Cambridge., Mass.

Over the years Ivan has written extensively about astronomical topics, and I know from personal experience that he's one of the best science journalists in the business. We will be posting Ivan's blog entries along with about one podcast per week. Ivan previously worked as a producer and an on-air personality for the Discovery Channel Canada, so you will be quite satisfied with the high level of content and production of his podcasts.
