Join Sky & Telescope as we travel to Chile, the "astronomy capital of the world."

I’m counting down the days to the Sky & Telescope trip to Chile in March–April 2014.

We’re going to visit fantastic sites and enjoy tremendous views of spectacular Southern Hemisphere sky treasures through large amateur telescopes — if you’ve never been down south before, you will be blown away by objects such as the Tarantula Nebula, 47 Tucanae, and the Eta Carinae Nebula. We have some great stuff in the north, but the south wins the deep-sky contest hands down!

Plus, we’re going to meet lots of friendly people, be immersed in a wonderful Latin American culture, and sample delicious foods and beverages.

We only have a few remaining slots for the trip, so if you’re interested in a great travel experience and seeing beautiful natural scenery in one of the greatest astronomy nations in the world, sign up now!
