Description:

This is the Crescent Nebula, in the Constellation Cygnus. I imaged it early the morning of July 28th. It is shot in Hydrogen Alpha (Ha) light, which is not affected by moonlight. I was only able to get 50 minutes of total exposure, because the camera jammed against the tripod leg as the telescope was tracking the object across the sky. Nevertheless I'm happy with the result. The "clouds" are also wisps of nebulosity.
