Description:

The Moon's occultation of Mars will occur on the other side of the planet from me. But I get to witness the conjunction of Mars and the Trifid/Lagoon nebulae. The nebulae straddle the Ecliptic, and Mars is a fraction of a degree South of the Ecliptic now. All objects are at the same Right Ascension (18hrs,3min).
