Equipment:

Nikon D3300 (at 3200 ISO) and 300mm Nikkor lens (at f/5.6). Mounted on Sky-Watcher EQ2 mount (driven but unguided).

Description:

This galactic cluster is estimated from its HR diagram turn-off to be nearly 7 billion years old, much older than the sun. It is located in the constellation of Cepheus, 5 degrees form the NCP, at an estimated distance of just over 5000 light years.
