This was my first attempt at NB imaging the Rosette Nebula at constellation Monoceros. The name rosette relates to the word "Rose", and this nebula is one of the most popular astrophotography targets due to its flower-like shape and its many interesting features such as Bok globules (dense dark nebula) and the star clusters within the nebula (such as NGC2244 at its center). The image is mapped as a Hubble palette composed of 46 frames of 300s Ha, 13 frames of 300s OII and 12 frames of 300s SII filters.
