In late July I was visiting Joshua Flats in the Northwest region of Death Valley taking star trail and Milky Way photos among the Joshua trees. The camera I had set up for star trails happen to capture the Chinese satellite booster that burned up rather spectacularly over Reno and Las Vegas. Just a lucky coincidence that the photo was composed well.
