Description:
These images show the comet 4 hours from closest approach to Earth. The comet was about to set over Denver Colorado and it makes closest approach during morning daylight in Denver. The Full Moon nearby, thin clouds and low altitude over Denver made the images look hazy. Thankfully, the snow blizzard waited one day until after this rare event. Unfortunately, the comet looked more like an asteroid than a comet.
