This morning I made a very special observation, hunting for a sliver of the waning crescent Moon. Obviously the only clouds were towards the eastern horizon, but after a while, the Moon appeared in a gap between them, and after taking some pictures, I managed to see it even with the unaided eye. As always, to observe such a waning crescent is always a great thing!
