Finally I was able to get some LRGB frames to complete the first pic with Astrel8300 standalone CCD camera. This new kid on the block comes wirh a bunch of innovative features. It includes a small Linux computer that can do all necessary controlling on board, savig pics to internal memeory and downloaded later on. There is an App built in than can be accesed via VNC and controlled on a WiFi connected Laptop or even Tablet or mobile phone. I really framedand focussed some shots on my Samsung Galaxy! There is also an LCD screen that can be attached to access the App. Also on board is LinGuider, you can plug your QHY Lodestar or ASI and let the Astrel do the guiding. Works like a charm.
