Description:

Exposure- 30sec x 98 frames at 1600 ISO. Processed in DeepSkyStacker, PixInsight LE and Photoshop. The Great Orion Nebula is one of the most popularly observed nebulae of the winter sky. Because of its huge amount of detail ranging throughout a wide range of brightness, photographing it is a challenge. This is an HDR image where separately processed exposures were used for the bright and faint parts of the nebula.
