Description:

The image you see here is a de-rotation of 9 x 90s captures taken with very good seeing, but with transparency slightly compromised by high-level, hazy clouds. The GRS appears to have recovered from its recent turmoil, assuming a more regular shape. The brown cloud band at the southern edge of the SEB, which had been encircling the GRS recently, appears to now be disrupted to the north of the GRS and thinning around the GRS in general. The remnants of the "flake" that recently peeled off the GRS can be seen in the brown cloud band returning eastward along the STB.
