Description:

This is a zoomed in photo of a fragment just breaking off of the main meteor and just starting to flare up. This fragment has just made 2 turns around the main body. The green zone is the path ot the large body that has not heated up enough to start burning up.The photo has been enlarged to show the detail and is also showing the pixel size. I shot over 400 photos during the meteor shower and got only this one good shot. I hope you enjoy the photo.
