Canon 350D DSLR with a Sigma 70-300 APO Macro DG set to 200 mm, f/11 on a tripod. ISO 800. 1/4 second exposure with auto exposure compensation at -2 EV.
Since August Full moon, my grilfriend Sabine (in the picture) and I have decided to adopt a new way to photography the Moon. See http://www.photoastronomique.net/galerie_us.php?id=12 and http://www.photoastronomique.net/galerie_us.php?id=3 Here, the white hoop has the size of the umbra in order to apprehend the real size of it near the Moon orbit.
