Tripod mounted Pentax istD DSLR, 18-125mm Sigma lens at 125mm. 2 second exposures.
I chose the boardwalk to insure that I had a flat horizon; but a distant cloud bank did not permit seeing the Moon until it was about 5º above the ocean. After about a 30 minute window a low level cloud layer quickly developed covering the sky. This happened just after the Moon began exiting the umbra.
