A tiny lunar green segment appeared on the moon setting behind the wind mill that once served the salt pond of Marsala (Trapani - Sicily - Italy). A green segment is a term invented by O’Connell to point out all the types of green flash. Later on it was not used any more but now is again utilized to indicate the formation of small arcs that come first the green flash itself.
