Description:
The lunar letters, Lunar V and Lunar X can only be seen near the first quarter moon phase. The fascinating feature of lunar X is formed due to play of light and shadows near the confluence of crater rims of La Caille, Blanchinus and Purbach. Lunar V is seen when sunlight strikes the top of crater Ukert and the ridges remain in the shadow.
