Nikon D3200 - 50mm lens - f/1.4 - ISO 6400 - 4 second exposures stacked using DeepSkyStacker
The Great Andromeda Galaxy as seen from the mountains of Central PA. This is the result of stacking 3000 4-second exposures taken over the course of 5 seperate nights, resulting in 200 minutes of total exposure time. This was achieved using a standard static tripod without a tracking mount, and a modest DSLR setup. The final image was cropped and processed using Lightroom.
