Panasonic FZ30 with Olympus TCON-17 teleconverter for an equivalent focal length of 714mm. Mounted on a Bogen tripod, remote shutter release. ISO 80, f3.7, 1/13s.
Taken from my backyard in Owasso (near Tulsa, OK). The previous evening I watched Comet McNaught from my rooftop as it went all the way down to the ground - even after the nucleus was below the horizon I could see the tail sticking up.
