Description:

I went on Sunday, March 17, 2013 for one day trip from Bratislava to the High Tatras mountains (370 km by car one way) to observe and to photograph a comet PANSTARRS (C/2011 L4). The comet was easily visible by naked eye, head bright as a star of 1,5 st magnitude and tail long 2-3 degrees. I will return to the mountains again as soon as weather permits. I saw my first comet Arend-Roland in spring 1957 as a 7 years old boy under the High Tatras too.
