The Moon is setting down behind a wind mill that once served the salt ponds of Marsala. Here the salt is still produced according to an old tradition. Sea water is collected in different ponds where it is naturally evaporated. The marin salt is cristalized and then harvested by hands of men that start their job during the night, a couple of hours before the sun rise.
