NGC 6946 Without Fireworks and Open Cluster NGC 6939 (Cepheus/Cygnus Border)

10 inch Newtonian telescope (f/4.7) with coma corrector. Nikon D3300 DSLR.
The image data was obtained on 24th July 2016. I have reprocessed in several steps due to vignetting. The 18m 30s stacked, autosaved exposure was loaded in Photoshop CS2. The galaxy (NGC 6946, famed for its high supernova rate such as 2017eaw this year) was processed first, then the neighbouring open cluster (selecting the area around each object). Then the image was cropped and further tweaks applied. Including conversion to b&w.
