NGC 6992 – Eastern Veil Nebula – Cygnus Constellation

Equipment used: Imaging telescope or lens:Sky Watcher 150/750 Sky Watcher Black Diamond Imaging camera:QHYCCD QHY 163C Mount:SkyWatcher EQ6-R Pro (EQMOD) Guiding telescope or lens:Orion 60mm Multi-Use Guide Scope with Helical Focuser Guiding camera:Orion Starshoot Autoguider Focal reducer:Sky-Watcher Coma corrector f/5
To create this image 28 sub-frames each exposed for duration of 6 minutes were taken. The final image was created using those frames in the process called stacking. Eastern Veil nebula is a part of bigger Cygnus Loop supernova remnant. Nebula is at a distance of about 1470 light years from us.
