Description:

The North American and Pelican Nebula in narrowband (Hubble Palette). This wide field image shows the physical nature of the objects grouped together as a whole. They are glowing gas shining through darker dusty materials. The popular commonly seen nebula “objects” are actually “holes” through which the background gasses are shining.
