Description:
AI was celebrating my 16th birthday at the Raven's nest at Amangiri resort, Canyon Point, Utah. I received a Nikon D3100 camera for my birthday because I love to take photographs. At the suggestion of my Mom, I step my camera to point at the big dipper on the night when the Perseid meteor showers were peaking. What better skies than Utah! I was lucky and caught this meteor flashing through the big dipper. Sophie Adams
