Image taken with a Canon 760D DSLR at ISO 100, 1/30th sec exposure through my Stellarvue 90 mm refractor using a Thousand Oaks White Solar filter over the dewshield and a Baader Planetarium Solar Continuum filter (540 nm) on the camera.ee
Description:
The Baader Planetarium Solar Continuum filter (540 nm) on the camera is responsible for the sharply focused sunspot and the amazing solar granulation, as well as the green hue.

There was an arrow pointing to the sunspot, but must have gotten lost in publication. The sunspot is located at 5:00 as you look at the face of the sun. This has been a very quiet year for sunspot activity, so kind of excited to get such a prominent one to photograph.
