Description:

The photo is a composite of 7 of 200 images taken during the eclipse.Originals show very nice sunspot groups, umbra and penumbra, and the irregular profile of the moon compared to the more regular disk of the sun. Among the images included are first contact, second contact, maximum, third contact, and the sun setting before fourth contact. Third contact image shows a broken line on the solar limb which would have been Bailey's Beads if the sun were not still shining at 18%.
