The first full moon after the Spring Solstice is called, variously, the Rose Moon, Flower Moon, or the Strawberry Moon. This picture, taken from Mount Soledad in La Jolla, CA, about 15 minutes after moonrise, captures the pink color of the full moon over the San Diego.
