The imaging telescope is a TEC 140ED with field flattener. The camera is an FLI ML 16803. A converted Takahashi 50mm finder along with an SX Lodestar camera was used for guiding. The mount is an AP Mach 1 GTO.

Description:

Caldwell 49, commonly referred to as the Rosette Nebula, is located approximately 5000 light years from Earth in the Monoceros region of the Milky Way Galaxy. The open cluster of stars, Caldwell 50, have been formed from the nebula matter. This image of the Rose is a compilation of images taken through narrowband filters and represents 39 hours of exposure.
