homemade 6" newtonian telescope with Olympus T-100 camera
dark venus disk transiting over sun- as seen through cloud cover. cloud cover used as filters for telescope as sun was dimmed by clouds. photo was captured when cover opened momentorily to show sun through veil of thin clouds. Telescope aparture was masked with around 10% open slit to control brightness of sun. this is a colour image but appears black & white due to dark venus & white sun behind grey clouds.
