80MM apochromatic refractor, 3X Tele Vue barlow, Canon DSLR on a goto equitorial mount
Since mostly cloudy conditions were predicted at my observatory at home in Maine, NY, my friends Lee, Jim and I made a mad dash 200 miles north to the southern shore of Lake Ontario where we found perfectly blue skies overlooking a beautiful marina. Ingress images taken with a 300 MM telephoto lens, center image using a 80MM f/6 apochromatic refractor, both using Baader solar filters and a Canon DSLR.
