A few hours before the transit started, our sky was forecasted to be clear; but 30 minutes before first contact, it was completely overcast, so we drove around looking for a hole in the clouds. About 25 minutes after second contact, we finally found a tiny patch of sunlight and we each got a glimpse through our filtered binoculars. We ended up only getting three glimpses of the transit before the Sun set, and during those glimpses I didn't get to take a picture of it with our camera - but I did make this drawing of it.
