Venus Transit as seen from Evansville, Indiana. The Evansville Astronomical Society had telescopes setup on the bank of the Ohio River near the Evansville Museum to show the Transit to the public. Several hundred people took advantage of the opportunity. I had one scope set up for visula observing, and one for photography.
