This was one of the trickiest shots I'v done, as Venus was only 10 degrees away from the sun. Because of this, I had to get up at 4 to align my telescope and wait for Venus to rise. This is and afocal image, used in conjunction with a 2x apochromatic Barlow lens and 17mm eyepiece.
